Historic Zero is a collaborated effort to take existing heritage buildings in Winnipeg and make them net zero…first ever in the world. This would be a new benchmark for what can be achieved in cost-efficiency with the improvement of energy and environmental performance of mixed-use, heritage buildings in a cold, northern climate. The average age of buildings is 85 years.
Project start date is April 1, 2013.
